  I've known Rosemary and Pete since I was a young girl. She would tell me stories about France and he would tell war stories. My Grandmother, Margaret Reed and her husband James Reed were very close friends with them from the time they came to Wilmington. They had a mutual friend who told Rosemary that my grandparents where living here and Rosemary just showed up the door one day and introduced herself:) They both were beautiful people. Margaret sends her prayers and thanks to God for taking them together. It is a blessing in her eyes at 97 years of age.

  I first met Rosemary in 1982 when I joined a Francophone group that met once a month. Rosemary was our "mere superieure", and soon became a very special friend. Our group continued for 20 years, and Rosemary was always our teacher, friend, and inspiration. We shared our experiences, our joys, our sorrows, and our love of France and all things French. In addition, she and Pete were personal friends, and even after I moved away from Wilmington 13 years ago, she was one I was always sure to visit whenever I returned. She will be greatly missed.
