I'll never forget all the great times I've spent with Sal and Calla over the years. Since I was 15 years old they were like family to me. While I was sailing through NC many years ago, we made some fun, exciting memories dealing with Hurricane Fran and getting my sailboat off grounding. I remember Sal out there on my boat cranking on the anchor trying to pull our boat off it's grounding at high tide. So many great times and laughter is all I recall of times with the two of you. We love you so much. Calla, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm also thankful to have spent time with both of you in my life as a kid and adult. You have both been a big inspiration to me and I think of you often. You're always in my heart and prayers. I'm thankful God brought you and Sal together. You were such a great team together. Sending my love and condolences for your loss. Sal was one of a kind. A man who didn't know a stranger. He had a heart as big as all outdoors. I love both of you so very much.

Calla, we are so sad to hear about Sal’s passing. We loved having y’all for neighbors. We enjoyed the stories that Sal would tell. He was so nice to always have doggie treats for Mandy. Prayers for you and your family.
