Samantha Morgan Brumley

Samantha Morgan Brumley, born on November 8, 1982, in Wilmington, North Carolina, left this world on July 24, 2023, in Richlands, North Carolina. She was a remarkable individual who touched the hearts of many during her time here.

Samantha’s life was filled with passion and creativity. She had an incredible talent for singing and her voice could captivate anyone who had the pleasure of listening. She poured her heart and soul into every note, and her music will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to hear it.

Not only was Samantha an amazing singer, but she also had a deep love for all animals. She saw the beauty and innocence in every creature, and she dedicated herself to their well-being. Her compassion and kindness towards animals were truly inspiring.

In addition to her musical talents and love for animals, Samantha had a gift for playing the guitar. She would strum the strings with such skill and grace, creating melodies that resonated with everyone around her. Her guitar became an extension of herself, allowing her emotions to flow through each chord.

Samantha will be deeply missed by her loved ones. She leaves behind her mother, Cathy Marie Head, and her step-father, Charles Head Jr., of Rocky Point, NC, her father, Michael Abernathy of Roanoke Rapids, NC. She is also survived by her three sons, Alex Orlowski of Milwaukee, WI, John Brumley, and Benjamin Brumley of Rocky Point, NC; her grandmother, Carolyn George of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her sister, Sarah McIntyre, and husband Erik of Jacksonville, NC, and her husband, James Brumley of Jacksonville, NC, mourn her loss as well.

Her step-brother, Sean Robert Head of Washington, ; her nephew, Jackson Samaras, and a niece, Erika McIntyre, also share in this profound grief. Samantha’s presence in their lives brought joy and love, and her memory will forever live on in their hearts.

To honor Samantha’s life, a celebration will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Chapel. This will be an opportunity for all who knew her to gather, share stories, and remember the impact she had on their lives.

Samantha Morgan Brumley may no longer be with us physically, but her spirit will forever inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her talent, love for animals, and musical abilities were gifts that touched the lives of many. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory continue to bring comfort and inspiration to us all.
