Sarah Louise Cribb

Sarah Louise Cribb, age 83 of Currie, NC passed away Friday, January 17, 2014.

Louise was born on June 19, 1930 in Rockingham, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Rona Pankey and son, Donald Yarborough.

Louise is survived by her husband of 42 years, Charles “Eddie” Cribb, children; Charles Yarborough and wife Gloria of Wilmington, Carolyn Carter and Linda Henning of Currie, Brenda Meares of Wilmington, Debbie Basinger of Carolina Beach, and Mike Henning, Sr.; brother, James Pankey and wife Sandra; sisters, Hazel Grizzle of Castle Hayne, Ruth Kelly of Wilmington, and Cornelia Harter and husband Phil of Jacksonville, NC; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

The family will see friends from 12 noon to 1 on Monday January 20, 2014 at Castle Hayne Baptist Church with the funeral service beginning at 1 PM officiated by Rev. Billy Fowler. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Brian Carter, Robert Carter, Michael Henning, Jr., Russell Meares, Jimmy Meares, and Christian Meares.

The family would like to thank all of the Doctors and nursing staff at New Hanover Regional Medical Center for the care given to Mrs. Cribb during her illness.
