Sasha Whitney Leann Hughes Carter, 41, of Wilmington died on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She was born in Warner Robbins, GA on October 31, 1980 to Orvis and Patricia Hughes.
She was preceded in death by her father Orvis Hughes.
Sasha was a loving and caring person who enjoyed having a good time and singing along to music. She was silly, and had an infectious laugh. She was a fan of movies with a special fondness in Marvel and horror. To go with her movies, she loved to eat pizza, of all kinds all the time, it was her favorite food. Sasha loved all things cute and bright, especially Hello Kitty and Lisa Frank.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Damien Lee, daughters; Logan Gordon, Stella Carter, Zimiri Lee, sons; Gavin Carter, Lennox Lee, Zachery Lee, mother Patricia Hughes, brothers; Paul Hughes and wife Valerie, Barry Chriswell and wife Glenda, Shannon Hughes, many friends and extended family.
A celebration of life will be held at 4pm on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation, 1535 S. 41st Street, Wilmington, NC.
