Scott Charles Hunt, 44, of Wilmington, NC formerly of Nichols, NY passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2007.

He was born February 22, 1963 in Waverly, NY.

Scott loved to spend time with his family going to amusements parks, skiing with his kids, dirt bike riding with his son, camping, hunting and fishing. Scott worked in road construction for the past 21 years.

Surviving are his wife Victoria (Vicki), daughter Ashley and son Adam of the home, mother and stepfather Norma and Ed Engelbert, Nichols, NY., father and stepmother Charles and Pauline Hunt, Rome, PA, sisters Wendy Kurtz and husband Andy, Macedon, NY, Shannon Huxtable, Nichols, NY, brothers Don Hunt and wife Nadine, Manorville, NY., Damon Hunt and wife Dena, Watertown, NY., nephews Aaron and Tristen Kurtz and Josh and Ryan Hunt and a large extended family including Eddie Taylor.

The family will receive friends to celebrate Scott’s life from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Wilmington Burial and Cremation, 1535 S 41st Street, Wilmington, NC. Funeral service will be 1:00 Monday, October 8, 2007. Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Sutfin Funeral Home, Nichols, NY. Burial Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.

    vicki,ashley,adam, you know ill miss the funny laugh that scott had,his ability to make vick go anywhere he was ready to go,and just his full of life hyperactivity,but most of all how he always treated eddie like one of his own.that means so much to eddie and he will always love scott for that. thank you scott for being a good friend,father,and husband to my best friend.we miss you every day. love,teresa and family
