Scott Rundel Royal

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Scott Rundel
Royal on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the age of 66. He was a native of
Long Island, NY and currently resided in Castle Hayne, North Carolina.
Scott is preceded in death by his parents , William and Eleanor Royal, and
his wife Donna Jacobs.

He leaves behind cherished memories for his surviving family and friends.
Scott is survived by his son, Dustin Fisher and wife Betty Himes, and his
daughter Beth Register, and one grandchild, Zachary Register.

Scott was a machinist for over 20 years at General Electric in Castle
Hayne, North Carolina. Scott lived a life that revolved around his passion
for race cars. From tinkering under the hood to cruising down the open
road. He loved drag racing in Rockingham, NC. He was a loving father, and
grandfather.

As per Scott’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Instead, we can
honor his memory by reminiscing about the good times shared, the
laughter exchanged and the joy he brought to our lives. Each time we spot
a dragster, we can’t help but think of Scott, knowing he’s still riding
shotgun in our hearts.

Farewell, Scott, may the roads you travel now be endless and filled with
the sound of roaring engines.
