Sharon was born in Wilmington. Her parents were Ralph and Juanita Moore.

Sharon was retired from New Hanover County Department of Social Services.

My family and I care deeply about the loss you have suffered and we are sending a few words of comfort to all of you. My words come from the Bible. It tells us of a time that death will be gone forever and the tears that are associated with death will be wiped away from all faces (Isaiah 25:8). We can believe this because God has spoken it. (Isaiah 55:11, Titus 1:2) May you find comfort in what God and his son will accomplish in the near future.

I knew Sharon in High School, she dated my cousin Ricky. I always loved going to her house, she had the most wonderful parents. Her mother was a very special lady, as was Sharon. Sharon was so much fun, but also one of those people who always made you feel special, knew just what to say. Heaven just gained an angel.
