Sharon Lee McIntyre, 64 of Burgaw, NC took her last earthly breath peacefully at her home on the Mac Farm, with her son Jody holding her hand, Thursday morning, July 13th, 2017.

She was born on April 12, 1953 to Anna Lee Geatz and Willard “Andy” Ambrose in Cumberland, MD.

She married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life of 47 years, David Randall “Randy” McIntyre during a snow blizzard on New Year’s Eve, December 31st, 1970, and he survives.

Also surviving are her two daughters, Brandi McIntyre Lilley of Wilmington, NC and Stacy McIntyre Batts (Chris) of Hampstead, NC and one son Jody Randall McIntyre of Burgaw, NC, Two grandson’s, Ryan Lilley and Anthony Lilley, one granddaughter Samantha Lilley and one Step-Granddaughter, Brianna Batts, all of Wilmington.

Among many of her accomplishments while on this earth, she is known best for her love and compassion for all animals, including her own horses, mules, donkeys and their black Labrador “Jesse”. She loved spending time caring and loving them all at the Mac Farm in Burgaw until her last days. She was an amazing friend to all that had the pleasure of knowing her and a tremendous messenger of God to us all. Sharon will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her talent and passion for writing and the infinite love she had for the Holy Spirit of Christmas inspired several published Christmas Tea and Christmas Tea with Angels books that will forever be embedded in our minds and hearts.  May we all aspire to live by the example she has set as she was the very definition of unconditional love and the way God intends someone to live their life. We will forever be blessed just by knowing her.

So sorry for your loss. Sharyn was such a beautiful person inside and out. She's the only one that could get me interested enough to read with her funny Chicken Pickin story's about tutu.

I am so happy I walked into the bookstore that Christmas season and went for Christmas tea with Sharyn, Betty Lou and others. My life has not been the same since. Sharyn had a way of making you feel like you've known her forever and were a soul sister. She touched so many of us and I know, I was blessed to know her! My heart goes out to all her family. We are all better people for having known Sharyn and she will live forever in our hearts, till she greets us again.

I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. Recently I lost my dear mother and found great comfort in the Holy Bible, like at Isaiah 25 verse 8 - "The Sovereign Lord will swallow up death forever, and wipe away the tears from all faces." Also at Revelation 21 verse 4, we find God's promise to remove both pain and death. For more comfort, I turn to the website at: www.jw.org (Search: Comfort)

Sharyn was a loving, caring, christian person, who always had a beautiful smile on her face. People who never had the pleasure of meeting her missed the opportunity to meet a true "saint". Randy and family, you are in my prayers. May God bless you, and ease your pain.
