Shirley-Ann Marshall Ammons, 44, of Wilmington, passed away March 1, 2009 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Joseph Marshall, Jr. and Shirley Rae (White) Marshall and a sister Vicky Lee Pelletier.
Shirley-Ann is survived by her husband of 8 years John David Ammons, children Sheena Ann Marshall and Scott Anthony Marshall, step children Heather and Vickie Ammons. Loving grandmother to 7 grandchildren and sister to John Joseph Marshall, III, and Richard Raymond Marshall and his wife Kelly. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind many other family and friends.

She loved camping, visiting Myrtle Beach and spoiling the grandchildren.

The family held a private service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.

    i do not rember much about her. it has been many years sice i have seen her and her faimly. I am good friends with her wonderful doughter sheena. But i do rember how she would always tell me and sheena to nock are crap off. for the last year i have been back in touch with the faimly. I know she loved all of her kids and grand kids and would do anything she could for them all. she will be missed deeply.
