Mr. Stanley Thomas Lancaster, 68 of Burgaw, NC passed away at his home.

He was born in Wayne County, NC on November 18, 1954; son of the late Chester Benton Lancaster and Jessie Mozingo Lancaster. Tommy was the owner and operator of Scott Electrical Company of Wilmington.

Survivors include his loving wife; Debra Jean Lancaster, three children; Misty Sanders (Shane), Christopher Thomas Lancaster (Kati) and Annie Elizabeth West Lancaster (Michael), three grandchildren; Abigail Bryce Sanders, Alexa Benton Sanders and Colton Thomas Lancaster, his sisters; Cherry Kay Bailey and Jane Reeves, and a special mother-in-law; Myrtle West. He was preceded in death other than his parents, a sister; Sue Eason.

A Celebration of Life Service and gathering of friends will be conducted 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday September   2, 2023 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel (1535 S. 41st Street, Wilmington, NC)

In lieu of flowers; memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.

    My family lived a few houses down from the Lancasters growing up. Tommy would always meet me with a big smile. He was always funny and welcoming to all of the kids that made their home, our 2nd home. He treated us all treated like we were another one of his. He will be greatly missed. 💕

    Tommy, known affectionately as "T" and I met over 30 years ago during a move for Big Annie. We talked Braves' baseball and golf and instantly formed a lifelong friendship. His impact on my life was immeasurable. He always treated people with kindness and was truly was a caring soul. Words cannot begin to describe how much he will be missed by me and his weekend golfing buddies. He was such a big part of our lives. We will always cherish our time with T. RIP my friend...
