Stephanie Jo Fell, 37, of Wilmington, North Carolina, passed away May 29, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born August 3, 1975 in Washington, Kansas, to Greg Fell and Sharon Ouellette Fell.

She attended Washington Schools through her junior year of high school. She attended her senior year and graduated from Baldwin City High School, Baldwin City, Kansas in 1993.

After graduation, Stephanie had many adventures in her life. Stephanie thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and spending time in the mountains and at the ocean. She lived and worked in Colorado, Alaska, the Florida Keys and Wilmington, North Carolina. Stephanie enjoyed snowboarding while in Colorado and spent her time in Alaska working as a deckhand on a charter fishing boat. Stephanie spent her career working in the food service industry.

Stephanie had an infectious laugh and the brightest smile. She was warm, loving and generous to everyone who came in contact with her. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Andy Fell, Dean and Shirley Woolen, and Roland and Edna Ouellette.

She leaves behind her parents, Greg and Diana Fell, and Garry and Sharon Keeler; sister, Julie (Brent) Foster, of Weaubleau, Missouri; brother, Travis (Marcie) Fell, of Lawrence, Kansas; step-brothers and step-sisters, Lea Dawn (Shane) Throckmorton, of Belleville, Kansas, Angie (Rich) Balman, of Olathe, Kansas, Rodney (Michelle) Eaton, of Washington, Kansas, and Randy (Michelle) Eaton, of DeSoto, Kansas; nieces and nephews, Treyton, Jadyn and Paxton Foster, Kendahl Fell, Michael and Nathan Welch, Halee, Brett and Bo Balman, Braden and Jae Eaton, Allison, Grant and Meredith Eaton; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Throughout her life, Stephanie developed many special friendships and touched many lives. These friendships have been a source of strength throughout her life and her recent battle with cancer.

A Prayer Service will be 2PM Saturday June 15, 2013 at St.Augustine Catholic Church in Washington, Kansas.

A Celebration of Life/ BBQ will follow at Washington Park.
