A beloved friend, brother and believer, STEVE DE WITT passed away 04DEC08 at 0500 after emergency surgery.

The first born son of a
family of 10. Survived by both parents, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, and numerous nieces/nephews. Local resident for over 30 years. Originally from Havelock/Emerald Isle. Experienced carpenter and surfer; enjoyed Oahu and NC. Original Blues Rocker guitarist/vocalist. Led many local bands. A true friend with a heart of gold. STEVE will surely be
missed by many.
