Steven Douglas Stepps A.K.A. “Stepps”, left this world at the age of 33, a life not finished. He was a Castle Hayne boy through and through, Port City’s finest, and Steven let you know it.
Steven left this world on the 28th day of March in a city he loved so much.
Steven was born on the 27th day of January 1989, in the city of Richmond, VA. He was born to loving parents, Tony and Angelia Stepps and has left behind 5 brothers, Christopher Gibson, Richard Jordan, Brandon Perdue, Tony Stepps, Jr. and Brandon Gibson. All brothers loved him dearly and all had the same struggle.
Steven attended Ashley high school and not long after fathered a child with Tiffany Greene, a son, Deven, whom he was so proud of. Deven was the apple of Steven’s eye.
Steven was a plumber by trade and loved his profession. In his off time, Steven loved listening to music. Steven was a mama’s boy, in a good way. He loved spending time with his mom and fussing over her and his memaw, Ms. Sue Harvley.
Steven leaves behind a loving mother, Angelia, father, Tony, Sr. five loving brothers, Christopher Gibson, Richard Jordan, Brandon Perdue, Tony Stepps, Jr., and Brandon Gibson and two sisters, Kayla and Tristen Langley, two sisters-in-law, Sarah Stepps and Carolyn Wilbur, several nieces and nephews and a lot of family and friends who loved him dearly.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from the hours of 5:00PM till 7:00PM at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
