Sylvia Frances Cavender 93 of Wilmington, NC and formerly of Charleston, WV passed away Saturday April 30, 2022.

She was born in Charleston, WV on January 5, 1929 to Milton Thomas and Mamie Underwood Thomas. She was the widow of Orville Cavender who passed in 1971. Also preceding her in death were sisters Opal Long; leola Gray and Norma Lee Thomas.

Sylvia is survived by daughter, Dixie Cavender and life partner, Donald Davis of Wilmington, NC; a special friend, Barbara Anderson of West Virginia.
