Memorial Gifts & Donations

Tammy Rena Perdue, 38 of Wilmington passed away Saturday October 13, 2012.

She was born in Wilmington on January 8, 1974.

Tammy is survived by her loving father, Furman William (Bill) Perdue of Wilmington, and her mother, Patricia Tucker of Concord, NC; brother, William Dale (Billy) Perdue and wife Wendy of Hampstead, two nieces that Tammy sincerely loved, Alicia and Allie Perdue. Tammy also leaves behind several uncles, aunts and other family members, as well as many friends.

Tammy will be missed tremendously by her father and all others that knew her. Tammy was typically shy, but very loving. Upon Tammy’s death she left a legacy for all. Her kindness will never be forgotten as her sacrifice was giving the “ultimate gift of life”.

The family would like to extend our appreciation to New Hanover Regional Medical Center staff in CCU, Tania and Dawn were loving and kind during this process. Thanks to all of the doctors that were assigned to her case and worked tirelessly to ensure her life would carry on through others, to the FANTASTIC staff of Carolina Donor Services, and to Faye Anderson for supporting the entire family during our time of sorrow.

A private memorial will be held for the family on Saturday, October 20, 2012.

I want to express my sympathy for Tammy's family, I can't imagine your pain. I haven't known Tammy since she was a small child, and she was definitely such a lovable little thing back then. You'd want to just squeeze her she was so cute. Obviously she was still such a lovable young lady the way she was so thoughtful of others. I'm sure Tammy is a special angel now in her new home. God Bless her loved ones left behind to miss her.
