Teresa Carder Zickefoose, 48 of Castle Hayne passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Carol Carder and a brother Richard Carder, Jr.

Teresa is survived by her husband David Zickefoose, daughters Shawna Renee Bond and Shannon Leigh Zickefoose, grandchildren Clarice and Kayne Bond, sisters Debbie Zickefoose and Pam Cayton and brother John Summers.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Teresa always put family first and will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral service will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Wilmington Burial and Cremation Service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Zimmer Cancer Center.

    What a wonderful person Theresa was...she will dearly be missed by many. She touched the lives of so many and one of them was my mama..Sherry!     This woman was like no other. A very simple woman with intensions of loving everyone she came in contact with. A kind heart and warm soul that wanted to make everyone around her happy (and she did). Understanding and non judgemental to say the least. She had a presence of an angel and always made me feel loved. Still to this day my children talk about her like she's present and this makes me feel like she is still with us everyday:) I can't say or ever put into words how I miss her. One day we will reunite and I will have my best friend in my life again. I miss you mom XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX
