Terri Lyn (Smith) McNeill, 53, of Leland, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

A Celebration of Life and cookout will be held at Noon on Saturday, October 21, at the family home at 409 Village Road NE, Leland, NC, 28451.

Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to Wilmington Funeral & Cremation – Leland Chapel.

Terri was a student in my first grade class. She was a bright child and such a sweet person. She was so proud of her children and I had the privilege of once more being part of her life by teaching some of them. She has been a part of my life and has kept me abreast of her children's lives as well as hers. She will be missed and I know that she is happy to once again be with her mom and dad. I still have her first grade picture.

Terri always had a smile for everyone.I new her for a long time but really got to be her friend when I moved to the end of Greenloop Rd.Our kids were all close in age so we all did a lot together.Me and Terri had some really fun times.She was so proud of her kids.They were the light of her life.She will be greatly missed.
