Terry Lamont Taylor, 54, of Wilmington, NC, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Terry was born in Atlanta, GA on June 5, 1957, the son of the late Otis W. Taylor, Sr. and Willie Faye Blake Taylor.

He was a loving and devoted father to his son, Dillan and husband to his loving wife, Joanne McKnight Taylor.

He is also survived by his brother, Thomas G. Taylor and wife, Sheila of Hampstead, NC; also a niece, Trudy and nephew, JJ.

The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 12 Noon overlooking the waterway at their home, 7429 Janice Lane, Wilmington, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.

    I remember Terry from high school, Sprayberry. He dated my friend Susan for a while and I liked his cousin. Such a shame we lose people so young. My prayers and thought are with your family.

    im sorry to here about terrys passing.he was very nice to me when i knew him.i once was married to his brother jerry for a very short time.im praying for god to help the entire family to help them through these sad times at least hes with his mom and dad in heaven and he no longer suffers hes finaly at peace.
