Mr. Thomas Jefferson Estep, Jr. of Riegelwood, NC, was born on Tuesday, October 7, 1941 to the late Thomas and Julia Knight Estep, in Washington, DC, and passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020 at New Hanover Reginal Medical Center, in Wilmington, NC, completing his life’s journey of 78 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Thomas and Julia Knight Estep.

Mr. Estep was a hard dedicated worker, he worked for International Paper for 34 years, after his retirement he returned back to work at T&C Services, and worked there for 12 years. In Thomas’s free time he enjoyed fishing, and hunting. He was a active member of Riegelwood Baptist Church. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 54 years: Sue Estep, of the home; one son: Jeff Estep, and fiancé Nicole; two brothers: Ronald Estep, and wife Terry; Robert Estep, and wife Evelyn; one sister: Bonnie Bozeman; a special brother and sister-in-law: Wayne and Connie Averett; along with several nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 10:30AM till 11:30AM, with a funeral service to follow at 11:30 AM, at Riegelwood Baptist Church, with pastor: Dr. Ed Taylor to officiate, burial to follow after the services in the church cemetery.
