On behalf of myself and family, we wish Lynda and Family the very best in this time of sadness, I personally was shocked at the news, as I am sure everybody else was, Tom was my age and it really hits home that you never know when your time is up. David Crosby also sends his condolences.

Linda, Ruthie and I were truly saddened by the news. Tom will be truly missed as he was a great friend who always brought a smile to our faces. I will never ever forget the limo ride with Tom and our progressive dinner party to DC. Tom had us laughing so hard that our sides ached. I can honestly say I never laughed so hard in my entire life – most enjoyable night ever. I’m sure Tom is up in heaven making everyone laugh. With a heavy heart, Ruthie and I say goodbye ole friend.

It was just a week ago that we had our last P & Z meeting together. It was a 2 hour 'get to the facts' kind of meeting and Tom contributed as always. We had a few quiet words at the end and it all was to go south the next night. Thank you Tom and Lynda for making Carolina Beach a better place through your efforts and volunteering. Prayers to your family and RIP Tom.
