Thomas Matthew Cottle age 46, passed away Tuesday November 27, 2018 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter.

Matt was born in Wilmington on February 3, 1972.

Matt was a professional truck driver for Waste Industries. In his leisure time he enjoyed traveling, visiting the beach and spending time with his family.

Matt is survived by his wife, Virginia “Ginger” Caison Cottle; son, Zachery Thomas Cottle; mother Janice Male Cottle of Orrum; brother Brian Michael Cottle; sister Barbara Hernandez; his father and mother in-laws Robert and Dale Caison; sister in-law Penny Caison; niece Jennifer Reid; his special friend Joey Pridgen and his cat “Milo”

A memorial service will be held 4 pm Saturday December 1, 2018 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. Tom Male. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the services.

    To Matts family So sorry for your loss He was taken so young and in his prime of life sometimes we don't understand how things turn out but know that god has a time and plan for us all. Matt was a good person great father and son. He set the example for his family to follow. He will always be in your heart and watching over all of you. Prayers and Blessings go with each one of you.
