Thomas Ray Duncan, 55, of Wilmington, died Monday, March 5, 2012.

Tommy was born in Columbus County April 8, 1956 the son of Peggy Floyd and the late Ray M. Duncan. He was formerly employed at Dupont, and was retired as a deputy of the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Department.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his spouse, Debbie Haviaras Duncan of Wilmington: sons, Joshua Thomas Duncan of Myrtle Beach and Jeremiah Dale Duncan of Wilmington, and their mother Sabra Duncan of Wilmington, sister, Rebecca Duncan Clark, husband Del and their son Franklin of Newport News, VA.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, March 10, 2012, at 2:00 pm by Rev. Tim Flint in Columbus Memorial Park, Whiteville, NC.
