Thomas Ray Simmons 67, of Leland passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 in Fayetteville, NC.

Thomas was born in Columbus County, NC the son of the late Headly and Olivia Lee Long Simmons.

Surviving are his brothers Jimmy Simmons; J.H Simmons and Wife Margaret; Billy Graham Simmons and David Earl Simmons and wife Flo; sisters Peggy Mills and Lillie Mae Yeates. Also he leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted 1:30 PM Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Tabor City.

The family will see friends Thursday Morning prior to the service from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
