Mrs. Tiernie Leeuwenburg Regan, 45, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully May 11, 2017 after a brief illness.

She was the daughter of Wilton and Betty Leeuwenburg. She was a devoted mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend to all.

Everyone she met loved her caring, loving and outgoing presence. She cared deeply for everyone that came into her life and would gladly help anyone that was in need.

She is survived by her husband John M. Regan II, her son John M. Regan III, daughters Caitlin J. Hunter of Wilmington, Haley A. Hunter of Greenville, Ashley Hunter Henderson (Kendrick) of Fort Bragg and brother Dennis Leeuwenburg of Wilmington.

The memorial will be held on Friday May 19, 2017 at Pearsall Memorial Presbyterian Church at 2 pm. Visitation will start at 1 pm before the memorial service.

In Lieu of flowers, memoirals may be made to chaity of ones choice.
