SFC Tommy Ernest Carter, US Army Retired, know to many as “TC” passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017 after bravely fighting a short illness surrounded by those who loved him the most.

He then moved to Wilmington NC with his family. “TC” began a new career in construction and worked for several companies learning many different skills. That’s where he found his dream job of working for the New Hanover County Landfill where he continued to work until his retirement.
