Tony Brooks Ward, Sr. of Wilmington passed away Friday, January 4, 2012.

He was born on July 1, 1942. His parents were the late Ella Ward and Woodrow Ward. Preceded in death by his step-father, Leo Stephenson; two brothers, Cecil Ward and Woody Ward; sister, Irene Ward Freeman.

Tony is survived by one son, Tony Brooks Ward, Jr.(Laura); one daughter, Sonya Greene (Randy); two grand daughters, Lela Brooke Ward and Ella Jean Ward; brother, Jimmy Ward.

A memorial gathering will be 11 am Wednesday, January 9, 2012 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
