Tracey Lee Bryant, age 70 of Leland passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 with his family by his side.

He was born on August 19, 1944 to Alex Lee Bryant and Essie Mae Ransom Bryant.

Tracey was a veteran of the US Army and had retired as a heavy duty equipment operator and mechanic, and could fix anything.

Tracey was a member of A A and friend of Bill W., a member of Ocean Lodge # 405 A.F. & A.M. in Morehead City, NC, a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was active in the Leland Post.
He was a volunteer with Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity group for many years, and enjoyed being active and outdoors with many activities including hunting, fishing, gardening, and playing golf. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Tracey is survived by his daughters, Wendy Bryant Brake, and Tracie Lynn Bryant; brothers, Alex Bryant Jr., Nathan Bryant, and Billy Bryant; sisters, Betty Haws, and Lois McAlister; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Remembered is his wife, Ann Smith Bryant who passed away in 1985.

The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be held 1pm Friday, June 26, 2015 at

Wilmington Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 10 Honor Guard. Masonic Funeral Rites will be accorded by St. Johns Lodge #1 A.F. & A.M.

Pallbearers will be Zachary Bryant, Xavier Bryant, David Mintz, Bill Harrison, Steve Hobbs and Grayson Denman.

    Mr. Tracey was like a second dad to me while I was growing up. Many of my fondest memories of my childhood was because of him and his daughter. He was a good man, a good dad and a good friend. I pray that he is now with his soul mate. Rest In Peace Mr. Tracey..........your legacy will live on for generations.
