Memorial Gifts & Donations

Tracy Lynn Seme, 33, of Wilmington passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Tracy was born March 20, 1979 in Boone, NC and grew up in Boone and Harrisonburg, Virginia. She graduated from Harrisonburg High School and UNC, Wilmington, with a degree in Communications. She was a Clinical Researcher.

She is survived by her mother and best friend Christine Seme, of Elizabethtown, NC; father, Joe Seme and his fiancé Sam Waite, of Wilmington; maternal grandmother Erika Stahl, of Elizabethtown, NC; paternal grandmother Norma Seme, of Lakewood, NJ; fiancé Joshua Beeker of Wilmington; uncle Stephen Stahl and wife Helen, of Surry, VA; uncle Daniel J. Seme Jr. and wife Carol, of Mt. Dora, Fl; uncle David Seme and wife Yelena of Freehold, NJ; aunt Janine Newman and husband Donald, of Howell, NJ; cousins Danny, Catherine, and Ana, of NJ; and her beloved Chihuahua Daisy Jo, who will miss traveling in Tracy’s handbag. Tracy was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert Stahl, and paternal grandfather, Daniel J. Seme, Sr.

Tracy’s beautiful smile and her kind and gentle spirit will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her. She was an organ donor, and gave of herself so that others might see, breathe, and have a chance for a better life.

Do not grieve because we have lost her; smile because we had her with us…even if it was for too short a time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tracy’s name to Paws Place Dog Rescue, online at www.pawsplace.org or to the charity of your choice.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Coronary Care Unit of NHRMC.

Funeral arrangements will be private.
