Travis Lee Pinney, 35 of Carolina Beach, NC, sadly and suddenly passed away at his home on October 6, 2023.

Travis was born on April 9, 1988 to Ronald and Karen Pinney in Binghamton, NY.

From Travis’ parents:

Karen and I are devastated with the lost of our son Travis.

Travis was first diagnosed with diabetes when he was seventeen and has had many struggles with his health everyday day since.

Karen and I came home Friday afternoon and found Travis not breathing due to his sugar levels becoming extremely low. We called 911 and started chest compressions with the help of the wonderful 911 dispatcher until help arrived.

We would like to thank the Carolina Beach Police and Fire Departments and EMS for their wonderful service and assistance during this tragedy.

There are no services planned at this time.
