Vayden Cloyce Sutton 75, of Wilmington died Wednesday afternoon September 23, 2015 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Vayden was born in Wayne County on July 23, 1940 the son of the late Thomas Loyde and Lela Gertrude Sutton. He was also preceded in death by brothers Timothy “TO”, Sisters Evelyn S. Deyo, Carolyn S. Price and Mamie S. Burnett.

Surviving are his wife Lorraine Williams Sutton, son Duane Sutton and wife Terri, daughter Dina Sutton Dillon and husband James, granddaughter Heather Michelle Graham all of Wilmington, brothers Cleo Sutton and wife Louise, Denny Sutton and wife Linda of Goldsboro.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday September 26, 2015 at United Advent Christian Church. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro at 3:45 PM

The family will see friends 10 AM until service time at the church Saturday.

The family would like memorials be directed to United Advent Christian Church Men’s fellowship group 4912 S College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412.
