Veronica Nichole Ward, age 20 of Wilmington passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021.
She was born in Robeson County, NC on December 15, 2000.
“Nikki” is survived by her father, Alfred Ray Ward, II of Whiteville and her mother Deena Fowler Ward of Wilmington. Her paternal grandfather and grandmother, Alfred Ray Ward, Sr. and Veronica Ward of Whiteville; paternal uncles and aunt, Eric Ward, Heath Ward, Brett Ward, and Rendora Ward; maternal uncle and aunts, Gene Wood, Jr. , Erica Estep, and Marinda Estep; special friend, Will Bello; many cousins, extended family members and many friends. Remembered is her maternal grand parents, Gene Wood and Julia Wood who preceded her in death.
“Nikki” was a graduate of New Hanover High School and was currently an associate at WalMart Store in Porters Neck.
