    Vickie Lennon says:
Ginger was one of my students at Laney during my first few years of teaching. I was so nervous in those early professional years. Ginger seemed to know I needed to hear I was doing a good job. Often she would tell me how much she enjoyed my class or really loved a story we had read. She was such a sweet and kind hearted young lady. She always had only positive things to say about everyone. As I have always said, my students might leave my classroom but never my heart. Ginger, you are still in my heart. This world will be a darker place without your bright soul, but surely Heaven will burn brighter.
