Virginia DeNegri, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on November 25, 2023, in Wilmington, NC. She was born on September 9, 1927, in Cliffside Park, NJ. Virginia lived a remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and a zest for adventure.

This Jersey Girl had a deep love for her family, food, travel, and Bingo. Her infectious spirit and warm personality touched the lives of all who knew her.

Virginia lived in Paterson NJ for the first 88 years of her life and was an early and active member of the Riverside Veterans Association .After relocating to Smithville, NJ, Virginia found joy in being a part of a private association known as the VIPs (Very Interesting People). This group consisted of veterans and spouses, each having been married for over 50 years. Together, they enjoyed social events and embarked on international adventures, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime. Virginia’s love for travel took her to 40 of our 50 states, as well as Cuba, Canada, Mexico, Italy, France, and Ireland.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Pasquale DeNegri, and her beloved grandson, Dominick DeNegri.

She is survived by her children, Pat DeNegri (Laurel), Denise White (Steven), Gina Nagel (Jorge), and Louis DeNegri (Leyla). Additionally, she leaves behind three grandchildren: Darius Farraye, Janine Kirsch (Rob), Vincent DeNegri and three great-grandsons, Evan, Lucas, and Alex Kirsch along with Nieces and nephews in all corners of the USA.

Services to honor Virginia’s life will be held at a later date in New Jersey. Memorial arrangements are currently incomplete, but her loved ones will gather to celebrate her vibrant spirit and the lasting impact she had on their lives later in the upcoming year.
