Walter Dixon Cox age 76 of Southport, went home to be with the Lord Monday January 10, 2011 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Survivors include his wife,Betty Formy Duval Cox of Southport; a sister, Addie Link of Fayetteville,NC ; several brother and sister in-laws; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials can be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Dr. Wilmington, NC 28401.
