Wanda E. McNair, 57, of Rocky Point passed away April 14, 2008 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her father Jasper D. Ellis.

Wanda was survived by her husband of 18 years William “Kurt” McNair, of the home, mother Marie Ellis, brother Larry Ellis, both of Wilmington.

Wanda was affectionately known to her husband as “Scooby Doo”. She was a respected and loved School Teacher who taught at West Pender and Rocky Point Elementary. Wanda was a very devoted Christian who loved the Lord and her Church, Believers Destiny.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Believers Destiny Church, 1217 N Kerr Avenue where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment Oleander Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 2222 S 17th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401
