Wanda Gail Woodcock Price, age 67 of Leland passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at her home.

Wanda was born in Wilmington on April 23, 1955 to the late John Owen Woodcock and Mildred Girlene Fender Woodcock.

Wanda served as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Brunswick Cove Nursing Care Center and later owned and operated the Wild West Emporium and the Wagon Wheel Tavern.

She is survived by two sons, Lloyd Julian Price and wife Charity, and Brandon Keith Price (Ashley); grandchildren, Christie Rogers, Samantha Cook, Tavin Price, Morgan Price, and Cody Mintz; great grandchildren, Rusty Rogers and Rowdy Rogers; along with extended family members and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 12-1 pm Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Village Road Chapel, 525 Village Road-Leland,NC. Graveside services will follow at 2pm Tuesday at the Price Family Cemetery in Leland.

So sorry to hear of this sad news. I worked with Wanda at the Kicking Mule years ago. She was truly a nice person who really knew how to make you feel " uplifted " when you were feeling down and just having a bad day. R.I.P. Wanda ! My thoughts and prayers to her family.
