Wilhelmina Cronenberg Proctor, 98, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, entered into eternal peace on December 20, 2012.
Wilhelmina “Willy” was born in Wilmington, NC and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She is predeceased by her husband, James Ernest Proctor, parents William C. and Anna (Tiencken) Cronenberg, sister Catherine Perry, brother William C. Cronenberg Jr., and son-in-law Randolph W. Shotwell.
Surviving are her children, William L. (Ann) Proctor, of Cincinnati, OH, and Diane P. Shotwell, of Virginia Beach, VA.; four grandchildren, Michael T. (Lynne Longtin) Proctor of Cincinnati, OH, Veronica C. (Matt O’Brien) Proctor of Los Angeles, CA., Samantha (Wendell) Wright of Falls Church, VA, R. Wayland (Christina) Shotwell of Manassas, VA.; eight great grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, and Michael Proctor of Cincinnati, Lilly O’Brien of Los Angeles, William and James Wright of Falls Church, and Josef Levi and Johannes Shotwell of Manassas. She also leaves to grieve her loss a large family of nieces, nephews, and cousins with whom she had close personal relationships.
A graveside service will be held at Oakdale Cemetery, Wilmington, NC on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at 11:00 AM for close family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to a charity of their choice, in memory of Wilhelmina Proctor.
