William “Bill” Madden, Sr. passed away peacefully at The Brian Center in Wallace, NC after fighting a long  illness.

Mr. Madden was born on June 6, 1932 in Boston, MA to his parents John and Madelyn Madden.

He grew up with six siblings (deceased siblings: Jackie, Paul, Larry, Jimmy) Bobby and Maggie.

Mr. Madden honorably served 38 years in the United States military where he was an aircraft mechanic.

Mr. Madden is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jennie Madden and his five children: Billy (Pam), Gary (Betty), Ronald, Laura (Jason) and Eddie. Also survived by five grandchildren: Billy, Jennie, Rebecca, Hope, and  James.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11 AM in the Woodcock Cemetery, Atkinson, NC.
