William Jennings Caulk, Sr. 72, of Wilmington, NC died Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter.

Bill was born in Lumberton, NC on December 23, 1942 the son of the late Hubert Jennings and Geneva Flowers Caulk. He retired from the Wilmington Police Department with 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Ann Caulk and a brother, Ervin Devone Caulk.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years Annie Ruth Moody Caulk, son William Jennings Caulk, Jr. and wife Michelle of Supply, daughter Sonja Jean Caulk of Wilmington, sister Carolyn C. Baxley of Lumberton and two grandchildren Brittany Nichole Yopp and David  C. Warth.

Bill was a member of Lake Forest Baptist Church where a Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 AM Wednesday November 4, 2015 with full Police Honors. The Reverend Burt Vezina and Deacon Clege Chambers will officiate the service. Special music will be provided by Paul Murrell. Jr. Burial will follow at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont, NC at 2:30 PM.

The family will see friends Tuesday night from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.

The family would like to thank the Lower Cape Fear Hospice for there love, support and care that was shown over the years and would like memorials to be directed to the Hospice Foundation 1406 Physician Drive Wilmington, NC 28401.
