William John Hofeldt, Jr. 87 of Wilmington passed away Monday, April 20, 2020 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Born in Brooklyn, NY on December 12, 1932 the son of the late William John Hofeldt and Lillian Naas Hofeldt. A veteran of the United States AirForce, he was a Professional Photographer by trade. He and his wife wife Nicolina lived in Dingmans Ferry, PA for many years before retiring to Wilmington. He enjoyed watching the Jets play football, and loved a good round of golf.

Surviving are his wife Nicolina Rose Correra Hofeldt of the home, son William J. Hofeldt, III and wife Debbie of Ravenna, Ohio, daughters Laura H. Conklin and husband Marcus of Wilmington, Susan H. Gable and husband Steven of Digmans Ferry, PA., and Jamie H. Linehan and Fiance’ Chuck Lowe of PA. Seventeen Grandchildren, Ten Great-Grandchildren.

A service will be held 12:00 PM Monday, July 19, 2021 at Coastal Carolina Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville NC. Military Honors will be the United States Airforce.
