William Pope Haggins, age 76 of Wilmington passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Robeson Counnty, NC on June 7, 1945 to Samuel Pope Haggins and Gladys Horne Haggins.

Bill was a proud veteran of the US Navy and served in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Ann Orrell Haggins along with other extended family members.

Memorial service will be 3 pm Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
