Willis “Billy” Henry Turner, Jr. of Winnabow, NC, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at his residence.

Mr. Turner was born in Darlington, SC, to the late Willis Henry Turner and Libby Miles Cooke. He proudly served in Germany in the US Army and after his military service he was employed as a diesel mechanic. He attended First Apostolic Church of Southport.

Survivors include his two sons, Willis H. Turner, III “Billy” of Tampa, FL, and Robert James Turner “Bobby” of Lexington, SC; a daughter, Billie Jo; his mother, Libby Cooke of West Columbia, SC; and two sisters, Bobbie Jean Warren of Winnabow, and Debbie Prince of West Columbia, SC. In loving them all, he was “Pappa” to his grandchildren and great grandchildren and “Uncle Bill” to his nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 1 PM, Saturday, January 19, 2013, at First Apostolic Church of Southport.
