Wilma J.Stevens Cayton 85, of Castle Hayne, NC went to be with her Lord on April 2, 2017.

She was born July 19,1931 to the late Willie & Naomi Stevens of Waterloo,Iowa.

Wilma was an Air Force Korean War Veteran.

She spent many years teaching Sunday School and playing the church organ and Piano.

Her husband E.Tom Cayton and Son,Terry Cayton predeceased her.

She is survived by her brother, Frank Stevens of Biloxi,Miss.

Her toughest and most rewarding job was being the mother of 6 children, 5 boys and 1 girl.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons,Thomas (Danae) Cayton of Nashville,Tenn.,Tim (Sandra) Cayton of Wilm.NC,
Todd (Jan) Cayton of Castle Hayne,NC, Toby (Donna) Cayton of Atkinson, NC and daughter Cindy Eason (Dennis) of Currie, NC.
Wilma is lovingly called “Grandma Stevie” to Heidi, Erika, Kim, Kelly, Shannon, Claudia, Angie, Jeff, Chrissy, Krystal, April, Anna, Ben, Travis, Jason, and Russell, 29 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren along with other extended family members that survived her. She loved us much and prayed for us regularly.

Homegoing Celebration will be Wednesday, April 5,2017 at 2 pm with visitation one hour prior.
