I am so sorry to hear about this. She was the kindest woman. I would often get hot dogs for lunch and she and Ron would come to the Med for their weekly dinner date where I hostessed. She was a bright and cheery person with a great sense of humor. She has been missed at the Trolley and I will miss seeing her at the grocery. ❤️

I am so very sorry for your loss of sweet Winnie. I grew up at the beach with my aunt and uncle Margaret and Cecil Seal when they owned Newell’s. My cousin Donna and I would go visit her and Mr Ron quite often as she would get the surfer dog and me the North Carolina dog. Great memories to cherish for sure.

Ron, I am so deeply sadden by your loss. I have the absolute most found and great memories of Winnie and you. I still hear her voice calling me by her trademark name "Lamont". The memories I have of you and your family and the times up in Arlington Park, IL home and of course down here in Wilmington are so precious to me and will never be lost. Watching you and Winnie grow the Trolley Stop into the business it became was great. Winnie really showed her beautiful smile and laugh from behind that counter at the Stop. With all my Love Rest in Peace Winnie!
