Aftercare
For many the weeks and months after a death are the most difficult. This when the reality of the loss sets in. Family and friends have returned home, leaving you lonely, depressed, and overwhelmed.
One of the most important ways Wilmington aids families is with our aftercare services. We are genuinely concerned and want to help you heal.
We call to check in, offer assistance or just chat. We are here to help with documents and paperwork or listen and serve as a shoulder to cry on.
We can connect you with local grief specialists such as therapists and counselors through hospice and other organizations. No one should face grief alone; Wilmington is here to help.
